G&W Engineering Expands Data Center Expertise with Industry Veteran Mike Balles

Louis, MO – July 30, 2025 – G&W Engineering is proud to welcome Mike Balles as Senior Data Center Consultant, bringing more than 41 years of mission critical experience to the firm’s growing service portfolio. With Mike’s leadership, G&W Engineering is now positioned to serve as a centralized, turnkey provider for comprehensive data center solutions, delivering coordinated expertise from concept through commissioning and beyond.


Mike will lead and manage fully integrated data center project teams which could include:

  • Architectural Services

  • MEPFP Engineering

  • Fire Detection & Suppression Systems Specialists

  • Building Automation System Providers

  • Access Control & Security System Integrators


This unified approach ensures a streamlined process, a single point of contact, and optimal coordination across all mission critical systems.

  • Data Center Design for New Facilities and Renovations to Existing Facilities

  • Commissioning (Cx) Services

  • Coordination of IT Installation
