Todd B. Scheibe, Operations Manager-Civil, is recognized in our January Employee Spotlight. Todd started his tenure at G&W just over a year ago bringing with him infinite knowledge and experience. When G&W Engineering made the strategic decisions to expand our services into the Civil Site, we knew Todd was the perfect fit our company and not only because he is an alum of University of Missouri-Rolla but because of his desire to help those around him to be successful.
What is your favorite part about working at G&W?
The people and the variety of projects.
When you are not working, what do you enjoy to do in your free time?
Travel, play golf (or at least attempt to), visit new restaurants and craft breweries, watch movies.
Why did you choose Engineering?
I enjoyed math and science classes and solving problems in high school. A family friend was an engineer and suggested I look into that career path.
What is the one thing you couldn’t live without?
Air, water, food…. Oh, it’s not that kind of a question. Well then, I would say family and friends.
Where is your favorite place to be?
Traveling some place new, most likely a place with a beach.
If you could do another job for just a day, what would it be?
Philanthropist, so that I could help people.
What is something about yourself that might be surprising?
My Bachelor degree is actually in Petroleum Engineering. My first job out of school was in the civil engineering field, and I have never looked back.
