Employee Spotlight | Greg G.

Greg Greenlee, electrical designer, is recognized in our Employee Spotlight for August. This Differentiator Awards winner has been a part of the G&W team for five years. When he is not working, you can find Greg enjoying movies, music, electronics, and playing with his three sons.

What is your favorite part about working at G&W?

  • One of the first things I noticed at G&W was the generosity of the ownership and family atmosphere. G&W has always preached and strives to be a family and it truly shows in how they approach completing their goals.

Why did you choose Engineering?

  • In high school I had an excellent shop class teacher. He had an old version of AutoCAD on his computer and he noticed my interest in it. He’d let me use it after hours and that really steered me in the direction of engineering.

If given a chance, who would you be for a day and why?

  • I am a huge American History fan and would love to be a founding father of our Nation for a day (preferably not Franklin though – he’s just too weird for my taste).

If you could do another job for just a day, what would it be?

  • A member of the U.S. Senate. I would like to hear what is discussed behind closed doors and see if the people running our nation really have our best interest in mind.

How would you define success?

  • To me, success is ending the day knowing I took care of my wife and kids.

What values are important to you?

  • Gratefulness is very important to me. Always saying please and thank you is a must in our household.
