Q: When you are not working, what do you enjoy to do in your free time?
I am an outdoor person. I can be found outside playing sports with the kids, taking hikes through the woods, riding 4-wheelers, riding bikes with the kids, or boating on the Mississippi. Anything that keeps us outside.
Q: Why did you choose Engineering?
I enjoyed the drafting classes in high school. Originally wanted to be an architect. But I got a job drafting for an MEP firm at the start of my senior year in high school, liked it so much, it stuck.
Q: What is your favorite part about working at G&W?
I enjoy the variety of projects across all market types. The company has done a great job in assembling a staff that knows how to work hard and have fun together.
Q: If you could do another job for just a day, what would it be?
I’d be a marine biologist. I would love to work with the ocean animals.
Q: Where is your favorite place to be?
The beach. We don’t vacation anywhere else. Some days when the weather is just humid enough here, with a light breeze in the morning, I swear you can smell the ocean air. I love it that much.
