October Updates

October 6, 2017

And just like that it is officially October! September flew by and G&W is ready for what the new month has to offer. This week, G&W held its monthly employee lunch and learn to discuss company updates. Fortunately for our employees, this lunch and learn happened to land on National Taco Day! So while diving into October updates, G&W employees dove into a delicious taco bar.

So, lets “taco” bout the top updates that has G&W excited.

First, our employee anniversaries for the month of October need to be recognized. We would like to congratulate and thank Greg Greenlee for four years of service at G&W on October 14th!

We would also to share the G&W October birthdays. This month, we will be celebrating Brandon Wolk, Jeff Abt, and Tom Dickherber!

Along with our employee birthdays, G&W will be celebrating a very special “birth-day” as well. One of our Project Managers, Marcus Eckstein and his wife Suzy, welcomed the birth of their daughter Hazel Grace Eckstein the morning of September 25th. Congratulations Marcus and Suzy!

Speaking of new additions, G&W has a new addition of their own. Project manager, Rodger Dorrah, has officially started at G&W. Rodger has more than 35 years of experience and we are thrilled to have him apart of the team.

Recently, our #GWgives campaign finished up The Joshua Chamberlain Society Shoot for the Troops, a Trivia Night for Good Shepherd School for Children, and the JDRF One Walk.

Each event had such a great turnout by our G&W family and from the surrounding public as well. G&W is proud to announce that not only did we hit our fundraising goal for the JDRF One Walk, but surpassed it! This would not have been possible without our G&W employees and family members, so THANK YOU!

Forthcoming, our #GWgives team will be looking into getting the company involved with an adopt a family, toy drive, or food drive. Whichever route is chosen, G&W couldn’t be more excited to continue our involvement in the community.
