Employee Spotlight | Marcus Eckstein
This month’s employee spotlight features Marcus Eckstein, a G&W Engineering Project Manager. Marcus received dual degrees in Architectural Engineering and Civil Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
Q: How long have you been at G&W?
4 years. Since June 10, 2013.
Q: When you are not working, what do you enjoy to do in your free time?

I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I try to play sports as much as possible. Anything and everything I can get a group together to play especially volleyball, golf, softball and soccer.
Q: What is your favorite part about working at G&W?
The comradery. It is a good atmosphere to work and learn in. Being part of a growing company is exciting and every day brings new opportunities.

Q: What is your favorite food?
Crab legs. My brother and I both love crab legs and used to have competitions seeing who could eat the most all you can eat crab legs.
Q: Why did you choose Engineering?
I chose engineering because I always enjoyed problem solving and that’s what engineering is really about. It gives me a chance to help other people realize their goals by solving some of their problems.
