#GWgives

G&W Engineering is proud to officially announce their #GWgives campaign. #GWgives is a campaign that not only represents G&W’s core values, but is an opportunity to give back to their community.

#GWgives focuses on the service component of the company’s core values. Serving has always been a priority for G&W. It is part of the G&W culture, and is the best way to show that we as a company truly care about the community around us.

G&W has a long history of giving back to the community. Since the beginning, G&W has been active in serving their community by donating, sponsoring and volunteering for numerous organizations. Of those organizations; G&W has close relations with the Joshua Chamberlain Society, Good Shepherd School for Children, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to name a few.

The Joshua Chamberlain Society provides long term support to veterans that have sustained permanent combat injuries fighting for our nation. Kevin Griesemer, G&W President, has been a part of the Advisory Board for the Joshua Chamberlain Society for several years. G&W has supported this organization by sponsoring events, donating auction items, and donating our time and services.

Darrell Jacobs, G&W Vice President, is the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for Good Shepherd School for Children. Good Shepherd School for Children is a non-for-profit child care center, preschool and therapy center for children with disabilities. G&W has had the privilege to sponsor and volunteer at many of Good Shepard School for Children events.

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, otherwise known as JDRF, G&W has proudly participated in the JDRF One-Walk for the past 3 years. G&W has sponsored a water station each year to hand out water to the thousands of walkers. This event is one of the largest fundraisers for JDRF in the region.

To make a positive impact, and to serve others, is how G&W promotes how to live a fulfilling life. We don’t want individuals only interested in making a living; we want people interested in making lives better.
