Eden Village selected G&W Engineering to create an attractive, new image for their senior living community. The 25M project consisted of a new 112,000 square foot independent living building, renovation of their present 67,025 square foot independent living building to a licensed supportive living facility and forthcoming renovation of the present 31,370 square foot skilled nursing facility. A unique element in this project was the atrium smoke removal system and the innovative incorporation of this system in the Town Square architecture.

Prism Healthcare Group ,Inc. selected G&W Engineering for its long history of successful retirement center projects. The firm was selected based on our understanding of this commercial product and our ability to deliver value based solutions and quality environments. The 16M project consisted of a new 41,800 square foot state of the art independent living building and 59,500 square foot skilled nursing facility currently under construction. The project utilized highly efficient energy recovery units for strict ventilation guidelines of the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Lutheran Senior Services selected G&W Engineering for its history and long established relationships for their recent retirement center projects. This 6M project consisted of a unique 40,010 square foot skilled nursing facility addition utilizing building communities to improve the quality of care. Special attention was given to integrate systems and building facilities while not disturbing the surrounding facility residences and operations.
Oakview Heights – Skilled Nursing Facility
General Baptist Nursing Home of Illinois selected G&W Engineering for this challenging renovation project. This project required concise construction phasing and temporary facility modifications to accomplish the construction thus maintaining the older portion of the building while the new buildings were being constructed. Project construction value was 5M. Total new and renovated area was 35,120 square feet. The emergency power and back-up generator was replaced to provide critical and life safety branch power to new and renovated areas.
Oakview Heights – Supportive Living Facility
General Baptist Nursing Home of Illinois selected G&W Engineering for this new facility to be built adjacent to the existing nursing home. The project construction budget was a concern, so the project team met with the owner and builder to closely coordinate systems and finishes to maintain the limited construction budget for this new 19,660 square foot facility and 2M HUD funding.
Weston Residential Terrace – Supportive Living Facility
The United Methodist Village selected G&W Engineering for the second phase of this premier retirement community. The Phase II facility incorporated a 27,640 square foot supportive living facility addition to the existing Phase I Independent Living Facility with Administrative offices. Phase 1 was completed by G&W engineering a year earlier. The total construction value for Phase I and II is 9M.
Magnolia Manor – Assisted Living Facility
General Baptist Nursing Home selected G&W Engineering for this Assisted Living Facility in Piggott, Arkansas. G&W Engineering posses professional engineering licenses in 36 states. Our strength in understanding building codes and health care licensure requirements throughout the United states is an asset to the Owner and A/E team.
Prism Healthcare Group Inc. selected G&W Engineering for the both phases of this master plan retirement center. The skilled nursing facility is currently under construction. The total project size is 104,300 square feet and 15M in construction value.
